Report a bug from the app

In Paidtime, open Settings and choose Report a bug. Describe what happened, add your email if you'd like a reply, and send. The report includes your Mac's version and Paidtime's recent log, which helps find the problem.

Common questions

Paidtime doesn't start counting. Open the project and check that its work app is listed under Work apps. Paidtime counts while one of those apps is in front, and pauses when you're away from the Mac.

It doesn't notice when I switch projects. Turn on "Notice when you switch projects inside an app" in Settings, and allow Paidtime when macOS asks whether it may control or read the other app.

Where are my hours stored? Only on your Mac. Paidtime has no account and no cloud. Export a CSV or PDF summary from the Overview or a client page whenever you need one.

How do I remove Paidtime? Quit it from the menu bar (the power button), then move it to the Bin. Turn off "Open Paidtime at login" first if you had it on.
